The Berman Skin Institute is one of world's largest dermatologic and aesthetic laser surgery centers, located in Palo Alto, Walnut Creek and San Francisco, California. We are seeking a general dermatologist who will also have the opportunity to perform procedures in our accredited ambulatory surgery center (endovenous laser treatments for varicose veins, liposuction, hair transplantation, laser resurfacing, face lifts, brow lifts, neck lifts, blepharoplasty, etc). Our mission is to blend state-of-the-art medical technology and research with a dedication to patient welfare and healing to provide patients with the best possible dermatologic care. We have 43 lasers and a very active clinical research unit. We provide the full array of dermatologic care including: general dermatology, Botox & Fillers (we are one of Allergans Black Diamond centers, recognizing us as the top 1% in world for Juvederm and Botox), traditional & robotic-assisted hair transplantation (we are principal investigators for this novel technology), phototherapy booths, narrow band excimer laser treatments for vitiligo, psoriasis, laser assisted SmartLipo, Mohs skin cancer treatments, laser skin resurfacing (co2,erbium, Fraxel), laser hair removal, birthmark removal, etc. We utilize an electronic medical record system and have state of the art communication and IT systems in place for both physician and patient, permitting optimal relay of information throughout our three centers in the bay area. At the Berman Skin Institute you will be able to gain experience you could not get anywhere else. Our offices are located in three of the most desirable cities in the San Francisco Bay Area, alongside the pacific ocean and within easy driving distance to Napa wineries, the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Yosemite. Opportunities exist to conduct research on-site as well as join the clinical faculty at both Stanford and UCSF dermatology departments.
